Mr Galea has been Breast Tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons of
England and Executive member of the Association of Breast Surgery.
As a consultant general surgeon he is committed to delivering a high
quality personal service.
Specialist surgical interests include breast cancer and aesthetic
breast surgery, thyroid disease, general paediatric surgery and minor
day-case, local anaesthetic procedures. |

Mr Coombs trained at the Breast Cancer Institute, Sydney, Australia
and has developed a web-based calculator,
www.SeeMyRisk.com,
to determine how a woman’s risk of breast cancer is modified by family
history or hormone use.
As a consultant general surgeon he provides a comprehensive general
surgical service including laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, thyroid
and endocrine management and the treatment of herniae (www.theherniaclinic.com). He specialises
in day-case, breast cancer surgery including the sentinel node biopsy
technique for breast cancer surgery. |
